Monty got six wickets in the end (career best 6-126), Tim Southee got New Zealand’s fastest ever half century in a Test (29 balls) during a last wicket stand of 84 in nine overs (he ended up with 77 off 40 balls). Ryan Sidebottom took the final wicket and England won the series. Quite entertaining stuff throughout the tour, but I don’t suppose Australia or India are quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing either of these sides. They both look a bit rubbish, nice as it is to see England win a series.
