The controversial Indian Cricket League has been described as perfect by former Australian fast-medium Glenn McGrath. He told the Herald Sun:
”The Indian Premier League is perfect. I go over there and get my fix of cricket, have some fun and see how we go. It should be exciting.” Even if the Twenty20 tournament isn’t exciting The-Man-We-Englishmen-Love-To-Hate will be laughing all the way to the bank, with a reported $400,000 fee plus the potential to earn $100,000 in each of three seasons.
Glenn McGrath was part of the Australian touring party defeated during the 2005 Ashes.
