India made 387-5 off their 50 overs. Of course this killed the game as the chances of England making 388 were [Pie Chucker counts on fingers… gets confused… gets angry… cries…] remote. Yuvraj Singh got a ton.
In reply, England made a polite 229. Pietersen and Bopara got half centuries at better than a run a ball. Prior, Bell, Shah, Fred & Collie all failed with the bat on a batting wicket. Whoopsie. Still the (seven match! SEVEN F***ING MATCH!) series has plenty of cricket left. No doubt the Indian fans are delighted at this prospect… I suppose we can’t begrudge them; they did just beat the Aussies.
